Terms of use
Last updated November 3, 2026
Is It? (isitexploited.org) is provided by LunarCrush, Inc. By using it you agree to these terms.
What Is It? is
A free service that gives general safety information: whether a message looks like a scam, where a link leads, whether software is on public lists of bugs used in attacks, and what to do. It is for information only. It is not legal, financial or professional security advice, and it can be wrong. Automated checks, including AI, can miss scams or flag real messages.
Your decisions
You are responsible for what you do with the information here. When money, an account or a loved one is involved, contact the person or company using a phone number or app you already have.
Acceptable use
- Don't use the link checker to probe, scan or attack websites, or to reach addresses that aren't public websites.
- Don't overload the service, get around rate limits or automate heavy use without permission.
- Don't submit content you don't have the right to share, or other people's private information.
Content and data
Information comes from public sources such as CISA's Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog, vendor advisories and Cloudflare Zero Wire, plus social data from LunarCrush. We link sources so you can check them. The Is It? name, logo and site design belong to LunarCrush, Inc.
No warranty and limits
Is It? is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, LunarCrush, Inc. is not liable for losses arising from use of the service, including losses from scams the service did not detect.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do.
