Is this Apple or iCloud security email real?
Reviewed answer
Check your Apple Account directly; a logo or familiar sender name is not proof.
- Open your Apple Account settings or type account.apple.com yourself. Review devices, purchases, or the claimed account issue.
- Do not use the message's links, phone number, or request for a password or verification code.
- Forward suspicious Apple emails to reportphishing@apple.com. If you entered account details, change your password through Apple directly.
