Someone has my bank account and routing numbers. Can they take money?

Those numbers can be misused, so ask your bank how to protect the account.
- Call your bank using your statement or official app. Say whether you also exposed a password, PIN, signature, or check.
- Ask whether the account needs replacement, transaction restrictions, or extra monitoring.
- Review withdrawals and checks daily for now. Report anything you did not authorize immediately.
