A click alone usually causes less harm than entering information or installing something.
- Close the page. Do not open downloaded files or follow its instructions.
- If you entered a password, change it through the real service. If you entered card details, contact the card issuer.
- Check downloads and account alerts. If you installed software, stop using the device for sensitive accounts and contact its maker's support.
