Someone told me to put cash into a Bitcoin ATM. Is that safe?

1. Stop the transaction and end contact with the person directing you.
2. Call the real organization through a known number. Ask a trusted person to help you check the story.
3. If funds were sent, contact the ATM operator immediately, save the receipt and wallet details, and report at IC3.gov in the US.

The caller coaches you to mislead bank staff, stay on the phone, or scan a code they supplied.
