- Verify alerts inside the monitoring service you already use. Do not follow an unexpected email's purchase link.
- Change any exposed password wherever you reused it. An old leak can still matter if the password still works.
- In the US, use free credit freezes and review account activity. Monitoring cannot remove every copy of stolen information.
