Threatening scripts often seek money; preserve the evidence and assess immediate safety.

  1. Stop engaging and do not send money, images, or additional personal information.
  2. Save messages, numbers, usernames, and payment demands. Block the sender after preserving evidence.
  3. Report threats to local police. In the US, also report internet extortion at IC3.gov; verify any claimed officer independently.
