A package I never ordered arrived. Is it a scam?
Reviewed answer
It may be a mistake, gift, or brushing scheme; check the label and your accounts.
- Check the recipient name, your order history, and card activity. Ask household members whether they ordered it.
- Do not scan enclosed codes or enter information to identify the sender. Report suspicious packages to the retailer through its official site.
- If addressed to someone else, contact the carrier. In the US, genuinely unordered merchandise sent to you is different from a misdelivery.
